Bernadette. Salt Polish

Bernadette. Salt Polish

Not only is this salt polish gorgeous to look at, but it is profoundly beneficial to your mind and body. Add a little warm water to this mineral laden salt exfoliant and its perfume blooms, penetrating your psyche and pores. One of the best and most immediately evident manners in which you can take special care of yourself is by exfoliating and/or drawing a fragrant bath. Do it, you're worth it!

The Bernadette blend is a decidedly feminine grown up scent. It is rose based and spicy, with delicate floral notes and a clean citrus backbone. This blend is designed to energize and amplify confidence while keeping the spirits up and frustrations down. In other words, it's meant to invite love into your heart and manage the troublesome symptoms of stress induced anger. Hello busy ladies, you know what we're talking about.

Our Salt Polish is dual purpose, an exfoliant and a soak comprised of a detoxifying blend of mineral laden Himalayan pink sea salts, England's  Epsom salts and dried rose petals held into moisture with a healthy dose of jojoba oil. The essential oils of Rose, Geranium, Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Lemon, Blood Orange, Vetiver, and Rosemary lend it a spicy, delicate, floral scent to ease your mind and open your heart. Use a tablespoon on a towel or loofah and rub gently over your cleansed skin to exfoliate or use 1/3 of a cup to just soak in the bath. My favorite thing is to use the salt polish on a towel and let the salts and towel sink into the tub full of water with me. Following your soak or simple exfoliation rinse briefly and let the oils remain on your body to moisturize your extra smooth skin!

Magnesium Sulphate, the main component of Epsom salts, is excellent for reducing inflammation and soreness. Magnesium is the second most abundant element in the cells of our bodies...we need it. Soaking in an Epsom salt bath allows our body to absorb pure the magnesium sulphate without the destructive assistance of stomach acids.

The name Bernadette is inspired by a good friend of the same name and that amazing Motown song, Bernadette, most popularly played by The Funk Brothers...but it was bass player, James Jamerson who shined.
