All the sales of this new tincture will be donated each week to a roster of social justice organizations specifically working to better black lives, this week it will be The Loveland Foundation. 

You might already know that I name everything I make after a song and everything about the song, We Are All Going To Go, is by Curtis Mayfield and he's an artist I recommend you get down with on the reg. 

Donations will go to The Bail Project this week (maybe for a couple weeks.) It’s a national bail network with outposts in many cities across the US to free people from our broken law enforcement system.

This bad ass tincture is made up of guardian plants—Yarrow (blood), Siberian Motherwort (heart), Self-Heal (lymph), Milky Oats (nervous system), Astragalus (immune system) & Baloon Flower (lungs).

I chose yarrow to shore up your exterior and keep things moving; Motherwort to keep you lion hearted; Milky Oats glycerite to rebuild and smooth your tattered nervous system; Self-Heal to keep it movin’ when your heart is just too tired to shoulder it all; Astragalus for the smallest shields you have (your cell walls) with the biggest impact, it’s where you go micro to get macro;  finally Balloon Flower to dispel stasis in you and your environment so you can use your lungs to speak and hack up what shouldn’t remain down there. And to Breath.

We have to do better. We white people have to do better for black people and all people of color. Period. 

If you haven’t used this covid time to reckon and reconcile with the world yet, then I don’t know what to do with you—but I will try to talk some sense into you. This mean little corona shaped instigator of evolution is a pitiless universal gift from the Mother Earth as she listened to our universal collective consciousness cry out for a pause—our collective psyche & unconscious knew that  pretty much everything was/is ready to pop. 

Our souls coalesced with this warning and the Earth heard and that’s why we have this virus to force us to evolve and give us the space for sight and the time to keep our eyes peeled to the realities we create. We must work to do more than recognize and address burning injustices to all beings known and unknown. We must work to change and it’s gonna hurt and be hard and we will all have to sacrifice. And these changes, unfortunately, will hit the marginalized and economically threatened people first and hardest. All of the obvious and unsustainable injustices we’ve exacerbated in our time living on the Mother Earth will be reckoned with and if this doesn’t ring true to you yet, then I beseech you to think again. The burning injustice to black people will not be the first or last perpetual injustice we all contribute to that we’ll face during this pandemic. Every single one of us, even the reprobate deranged lunatics out there, have love for something and it is with this Truth that I know Love will eventually Heal All.

Now accept that we're all racist and change that shit. Accept that the systems are rigged and change that shit. The little things count both ways. Start there.
